Mascara Mayhem!!

Hey Guys!!!!!

How are we all, you good??
Well I've had a little bit of trouble with mascaras lately and I don't know whether it was to do with the crap weather we've been having lately, or just that I needed a new mascara.

Over the past couple of months, I've been using Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara, which is one of my all time favourites. From the amount that's on the wand, to the shape, it really made my eyes pop and made them look amazing.

But, as I follow the beauty guide of changing your mascara every 2-3 months, I wanted to make a change, but know that I could go back to this affordable mascara. So, what did I chose??

After reading through endless magazines to see if there were any new mascaras available, I noticed that Rimmel have a new mascara out and noticing the thickness and flick of Kate Moss' eyelashes drew me in, so I had to buy it!! Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin Curves Mascara.

After 2-3 weeks wear, I'd finally made my mind up, I didn't like it. The packaging came away from the mascara very easily and when opening the mascara, it slid right out, and I know that some people like that, but I want to get the excess off, so would like it to be more tight and more of a struggle to get out, but when I did get the wand out, I was only disappointed even more. The mascara was very clumpy and although some people might say that you've got to wear the wand in, but I've been using this for nearly a month and the consistency hasn't changed at all.

One of the main factors of me buying this product was the same was very similar to my Maybelline Cat Eyes one, but thicker, but I found that the shape of this mascara didn't help shape my eyelashes what so ever. And the most annoying thing about this mascara is that when you take the wand out of the mascara, you get, what I call, the mascara point. The mascara point is when you take the wand from the mascara and at the end of the brush, you get some excess mascara which points and the majority of the time you get it on your face. AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

But, although I did find so many things wrong with this product and wouldn't be re-purchasing it, I liked that when closing the product it clicked to ensure that it didn't spill everywhere. So, after using all my Maybelline and not wanting to use my Rimmel Scandaleyes, I desperately needed a mascara that was cheap and would last me until the weekend and then I found this beauty <3

Behold, the Collection Does it All Mascara. This is a god send. Not only is it cheap (£4.99 from Boots) but also it does what it actually says, it does it all. It lengthens, curls, volumes, conditions and last for ever!! Although the brush isn't curved, it's tight to get out, which gets rids of the excess, and has little bristles which get right to the bottom of the eyelashes, making them look longer. But, when it comes to everything, there's got to be good points and bad points, and the only bad thing about this product is the colours are the same as my school, unless you get the waterproof one, but I can see past this.

I hope you like my little story of mascara mayhem and I would love to hear what you think of the new Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara, but either commenting below, or letting me know on:
