Magazine of the Month.

Hey Guys!!

Just a short one today but I thought I'd share with you my favourite magazine of the month that I've been loving and it's LOOK Magazine.

This is a weekly magazine and throughout this month, I've bought every one this month and it hasn't disappointed. Mainly based around fashion, like every other magazine, it also involves celebrity stories, fashion and make-up. My perfect magazine.

15 Facts about Me.

Hey Guys!!

Back again :)

As it's the 15th December (10 more days til the big day!!), I thought I'd give you gorgeous lot a bit more info about me so here are 15 facts about me:

1) I was born on the 15th September 1995, making me 19 :D

2) I am a Virgo.

3) My absolute favourite food in the world is burgers. No matter where from or what's on it. I mean, it's a warm sandwich...hello??? After this post, a burger is definitely on the cards :3

4) My favourite animal is the dog. I know. A bit boring. I mean, why couldn't it be more exotic like a lion or an iguana. Nope. Completely content with dogs, I mean, I grew up with Rottweilers so...

5) I have Ornithophobia and Arachnophobia. Google it.

6) I am right handed but always had this sort of dream of being able to write with my left hand as well, like being ambidextrous. But no... still can't do it :(

7) I have quite a large family. I have a mom, dad, 2 sisters, 4 brothers, step-dad, auntie, 2 nans, 2 granddads and 5 cousins who I keep in regular contact with. Yep. Alot of birthdays to remember :'D

8) I live in a town in the West Midlands called Walsall. Not many people have heard of it at all, but we're famous for making saddles for horses, hence why we have the Saddler's Centre (a shopping centre)

9) I'm only 5 foot 3.

10) I absolutely looove travelling. I've been to Italy, New York, Canada, Sweden, Spain, Tunisia, Russia and Denmark to name just a few but I'd love to travel more!

11) My guilty pleasure is One Direction. Sorry. Harry Styles. Not sorry.

12) I don't really have a favourite genre of music. My iPod can go from Elvis to Slipknot to Taylor Swift haha :)

13) I looooove films. Mainly horror films though.

14) I honestly don't know what to do with my life, like at all. I tried to go to uni, that didn't work, I hated school. The only thing that's been proper constant in my life that I've enjoyed is make-up and fashion ;)

15) Finally, I knit. My nan taught me when we were on our way to New York as it would've took us 5/6 days on a cruise so to pass the time, she taught me how to knit and secretly, I love it. Shhhh....

Lazy Sunday.

Hey Guys!!

Bet you didn't expect to see me here today. Well I thought I'd be more productive with my day, even though it's Sunday, and be more...ermm...what's the word. Crap! It'll come to me in a bit.

Anyway, I thought I'd give you a little glimpse into what I do nearly every Sunday if I don't have that much to do so let's get started.

First of all, I don't set my alarm. I know. This is probably one of the best feelings in the world when you don't have to worry about emails, meetings etc. and instead you can pig out in your onesie and watch films. I normally wake up any time between 10 and 12, but today I woke up at half 12 meaning I missed Sunday Brunch which is what I normally watch on Sunday mornings with a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea. 

When that finishes, my dad normally catches up with some programmes that he's recorded so I go into our other living room and stick a DVD on and in this case, it's The IT Crowd. If you haven't watched it before, click the link and it'll take you to the Wikipedia page where it gives you an insight into what it's about! :D 

Whilst I'm watching a DVD, I'll be helping out making the Sunday Roast, which is kind of like Thanksgiving in the USA but definitely not as big or hyped about and we normally have some form of meat, veg and pots smothered in gravy :P 

Constant! The words constant :D Told you it'll come to me soon :) Anyway...

After that's been demolished, I'll watch some TV with my dad and then depending on what's on, I'll either go and clean my room, check emails, listen to music etc. until I'm tired and then I'll go to bed :)

Although this might seem quite boring to many of you, this is my way of relaxing with my family. Oh! Forgot to tell you as well, normally we go and visit my nan and granddad every other Sunday for Sunday lunch at theirs and my cousins are there as well as my Auntie and we'll have soooo much food, we'll come back at about half 5 and I won't eat til the next day!

Secret Project :)

Hey Guys!!

So...I've kind of took on a secret project that's happening as we speak :D

Personally, I've been wanting to do this for soooo long and I've finally decided that now is the right time to commit to things and as you know from my previous blogs, I haven't exactly been the most committed person ever, but you know, you love me! Haha! :D 

So, I don't want to give too much away and trust me I reaaalllyyyy want to share this with you amazing lot but I want it to be a surprise and don't worry, I WILL do a post when I feel the time is right to announce what my secret project is :) 

So I hope you'll stick with me long enough to eventually see what my secret project is and that you'll support me, which I have no doubt in my mind that you won't.

Hey Guys!!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to anyone who has read or followed me on the blog.

November Favourites :D

Hey Guys!

How are we all?? 
I actually can't believe that it's actually December tomorrow, I mean I haven't even got an advent calendar yet...crap.

Well, because it's the last day of the month it's only right for a favourites and although I've been doing my blog posts since January, I haven't done a single monthly favourites :O Oh well, let's get cracking!!!

Food

This month food wise I've been completely obsessed with orange juice especially the one with the bits in and I don't really know why because before it used to give me indigestion but lately I've been chugging down at least 4/5 glasses a day!! I know it's not exactly the best for your teeth but at least it's not the only thing I drink :D 

I've also been looovingggg Marks & Spencer's chilli and coriander prawns with a sweet chilli dip. Heaven. When I'd be going to my job seekers meeting it'd be about 2 o'clock and I wouldn't have had anything for lunch, so I'd pop into M&S after and buy these and although there aren't that many prawns in it because it's like a snack pot, they're absolutely delicious. I couldn't find them on the website but I'll link the main website below so you can check out any other equivalents.

Make-up/ Beauty

After all the hype of Kylie Jenner's amaaaazing lips, I couldn't resist buying MAC's spice lip pencil and I've got to say it's probably my most used thing from my November favourites. I'd also bought MAC's Viva Glam in the number 3 to put on top, but for everyday wear, I've just been mixing Spice with a moisturiser and it looks sooo flawless and even makes my lips look more plump and natural rather than a bold red lip. MAC

On my nails this month, I've really been liking Luxedo by Essie which is a really dark plum colour and I didn't want a really striking colour like pink or white to make a transition from Halloween to Bonfire night and I wanted a colour that looked like one from far away but up close it's a different colour so this was perfect for me as it looked black from far away but held against the light a slight purpley shade was shown. Although it didn't last throughout the whole month and I had to keep on re-applying the colour, the first time I painted my nails did last for little over a week with no chips. Gorgeous. Well done Essie.

Now, I only really have 1 fashion favourite this month and that is my new shoes from Topshop. If you want to see what they look like, please go and check out My Instagram but my shoes were...perfect. Black with faux crocodile kind of skin, slip on shoes that go with basically anything. Skirts, jeans, dresses the possibilities are endless :DD

I've also jumped onto the band wagon, even if it might be a little bit late, but American Horror Story is vastly becoming my latest addiction with Tate having a little spot in my heart. I haven't really managed to watch a lot of it but right after this post is published I'll be watching the 8th episode in the 1st series and I must say, it hasn't disappointed yet.

Fail...

Hey Guys!

 

So...I sort of suck at life right now! :'D

 

In my last blog post, I told you gorgeous lot that I would show you a pic of what I looked like on Halloween but stupid me got a bit merry and only took 1 selfie but because it was waaayyyy past my bedtime and I didn't like the pic, I deleted it. :(

 

On the actual night of Halloween, me and a couple of my mates went to a pub in Birmingham called Flappers and because I'd never been there, I didn't know what to expect and as it was a pub, I didn't want to be too dressed up but at the same time I didn't want to not be boring, I mean, it was Halloween after all! So I bought a pack of stuff from Poundland to make my self into a devil! ;) So I paired the top below from Miss Selfridge with some black jeans and black boots that I got from H&M as well as the stuff from Poundland.

 

 

 

 

As well as this, I took inspiration from a YouTube website that I watched on devil inspired makeup look and although it didn't look exactly the same and I didn't have time to purchase everything that he was using because it was last minute, I still enjoyed recreating this look and got quite a lot of complements :3

Now, after that partayy, which was actually pretty good, the next day my friend Tasmin was having a partayy at her house and then we'd be going out down Wolverhampton after, so this was the night I actually decided to make myself look at least half decent! :'D I originally was going as the Bride of Chucky, hence why I bought MAC Lipliner in Nightmoth, but when I was

getting ready the white dress didn't go at all with the boots even if it was Halloween so I quickly changed my mind to wear the same top I wore last night but with a black textured skater skirt that I bought from Henry Holland agessss ago and some chunky biker boots and decided to go as a vampire instead. And as always, the partayy was AMAMAAZZIIINGGGG!!!! And we went to Walkabout in Wolverhampton and had one of the best Halloweens I've had in a while!
