Yankee Candle Haul!!

So now that I've had a rearrange in my room and I'll be do the majority of my blogging and editing in there, I thought I'd have a spruce up with my candle situation and as I'm a complete devotee to Yankee Candle, I thought it'd only be right if I did a little haul of what I bought. So grab a cuppa and let's get started!

Now I know...I bought a lot :/ but they were a sort of offer :)  and because I bought these I got a free one! :D

So below instead of taking a picture of each individual candle, because we'd be here forever haha, I'll leave links of each candle that will take you to the website where you can purchase them there.

Also, the reason why I bought the sampler size and not the larger ones is because the majority of these I haven't tried before and I didn't want to send £20 per candle because lets'd be honest, I'd be broke :'D

Anywayy:

Then I got these for my birthday :D

Let's just say I won't be needing any more any time soon hahahaha :D

Buy + Try... Milky Bath Lush Bubble Bar!

Overall I think that of all the Lush products I've tried over the years the Bubble Bars and every one I've tried I think I've loved tbf and this product hasn't disappointed me. The Lush Milky Bar bubble bar is beautiful.

p.s. the orange bit isn't normally on it, it's just where Brightside bubble bar had rubbed off :'D

As this bubble bar is pretty neutral in the colour department, this would be perrrfect for that bath at the end of a really long day at work. The orange oil isn't overpowering and blends perfectly with the patchouli oil and the cocoa butter soothes and softens the skin.

With the bubble bar having a silver glitter top on the 'milk bottle' this adds a glamour spin to such a comforting bath product and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone!!

Let me know what you think of this product below or on my social media :D

Saturdayy Shopping!!!! :D

As I work Monday to Friday, 8-4, the weekend is really my time. Like, I'll go shopping, lounge in bed all day or go somewhere I haven't been in a while which is what I did :)

Nearly every Saturday me and my family go shopping to the Bullring in Birmingham but we felt like a change so instead went to Merry Hill in Dudley. Personally I prefer the shops in the Bullring, mainly because I'm so used to going, but it was nice to see another perspective on how the shops would dress the mannequins and how the stores are laid out. Wow...did I just say that?!

Anyway, I thought I'd show you what I bought from my little trip to Merry Hill.

A mini scorpion in a little plastic box. Super cute :3

A marble effect notebook. Because you can never have enough books :)

Basically, because I used my loyalty card for the Body Shop, I managed to get £10 off my whole purchase because of my recent purchases and my birthday money (you get £5 on your birthday) :) So get a Loyalty card now!!! It's not hard at all, promise :) And it doesn't cost to join! You'll earn points every time you spend, 10 points per £1, and then in return you can have money off of products or even donate to available charities with what you've earned. All you'll need to give is your name, address, mobile number, birthday etc. the basic information. Then, when your birthday comes or events are coming up, you'll be updated with this news via email or text and then you can go wild with trying to products and spending all those points :D

Honey Bronze Tinted Leg Mist. Hopefully it's a lot quicker than fake tanning with a mitt :) No oil or shimmer, just spray onto legs.

Inflatable bath pillow. Everyone knows I looove a bath so I thought I'd give myself extra comfort with an inflatable pillow haha :D

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. Soo after a day at work, not going to lie, I can't be bothered to take my make-up off but as I've just turned 20, I told myself that I need to start looking after my skin and in the blogging community, I caved and got this beauty. I've already used it and wow...my skin feel soooo much better already and that's after 1 use! This paired with the muslin cloth is genius :D

Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick in Minimalist. I've already got this lipstick but in the shade 'Keep it Classy' and the formulation of this is insane! So I thought I'd get a new shade :D

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in 15 Rose Eclait. I never ever wear blush, mainly because when I do try I look like a clown haha :') but I thought I'd try something at least and this colour caught my eye straight away. I didn't want anything bold so a light dusky pink will do fine...hopefully :)

Look Good Feel Better Angled Blending brush. Now I'm desperately in need for another MAC 224 blending brush but didn't really want to spend that much on a brush and when I found this one, not only was it a pretty brush but was 1/4 of the price! This brand is the only worldwide charity that provides practical support for teenagers and women that are struggling with the physical effects of cancer. When purchased a percentage of the proceedings go towards the charity. Helping people and a beautiful brush...win win!!!

Nails Inc Alexa Hearts Red Hearts top coat. I've been eyeing this up for aggggeeeeesssss and when I saw it was the last one, I had to. Sorry. The brush is quite small so only a few hearts collect on the brush but I suppose it'd last longer :)

Buy + Try... Intergalactic Lush bath bomb!

Just the name of this bath bomb is soooo intriguing...Intergalactic :P

So this bath bomb from Lush smells very strong in the peppermint department, so probably not the kind of bath bomb you'd want to relax with but you know, personal preference and all.

Anyway, this vegan bath bomb contains peppermint and grapefruit oil to wake up the senses with added cedarwood oil which tones and balances the mind/body/soul.

I was a bit optimistic to begin with because it's multi-coloured and they nearly all go a horrible browny colour but this one was magical :D The water turned a deep sea blue with sliver glitter particles in...it was beautiful. If I was to make a change with this one though, I'd probably have a more relaxing scent but apart from that, it's probably up there in my top 10 bath bombs!! So yeahh, I would definitely buy this again :)

Let me know in the comments below or in my social media if you've bought it and what you think of it!

Thank youu <3

Buy + Try...Skydancer Lush Bath Bomb!

I actually think I have an addiction to Lush bath stuff. Like seriously. And I know that these 'Buy + Try' blog posts have been just Lush products but I will branch out to different beauty items in future posts but for now, it'll be Lush! <3

So it's the Skydancer Bath Bomb's turn!

Now,if you know me, you'll know how much I dislike birds. Pigeons, chickens etc. but as part of the profits for this product go to help fund equipment to satellite tag many endangered hen harrier chicks that are born in the coming years, I had to buy it :)

So this bath bomb has quite an odd smell for Lush - it has cinnamon, Bergamot oil and other oils which formulate to make a liquorice smell :/ Personally for me, I'd relate Lush products to more sweet smelling products like the Sakura bath bomb or the Fizzbanger bath bomb but I thought I'd give it a try.

Now this bath bomb is probably the biggest one I've seen in Lush, mainly the reason I wanted to try it so I can make more room for more bath products :D haha. Anyway, before putting the bath bomb in the water, I could definitely smell liquorice but not so much the cinnamon but when placed in the bath, the citrus notes overpowered the cinnamon and liquorice which I really liked.
Also, when the bath bomb was fizzing away in the water, what I liked about it was that the yellow of the bath bomb dissolved quicker than the bird so it looked like the bird was 'flying' in the bright yellowy-green water. Oh yeahh that's what I didn't like :/ The bath bomb turned my water kind of like jelly bean green. It'd be nice if the water was more of the colour like the bird but that's what I found out with Lush stuff that the more colour in a bath bomb, the 'uglier' the water (The Experimenter bath bomb

Overall, I probably would buy this one again :D

So yeahh :) I hope you enjoyed reading my thoughts on the Skydancer bath bomb from Lush and in the comments below or on my social media, let me know what you think of this product.

Thank youu <3

August Favourites!

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

So another month has passed and now we're into my birthday month!!! wooooo!!

Let's crack on!! :D

Gone Girl - This film is epic! Seriously go and watch it now if you haven't! It stars Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike and it's about Ben's wife who's disappeared and suddenly he's thrown into the limelight and accused of her murder...but did he do it?

Redbubble - This website is awesome! Seriously! It's a creative community that enables you to buy artists work and you can narrow down the categories like if you wanted to find Disney related stuff you can and they do clothes, phone cases, art etc. So if you have a friend who is obsessed with a certain film or character you could totally kit them out with a duvet, phone case etc.

Years and Years (WORSHIP) - This song is probably my favourite off of their new album, Communion. If you haven't heard of them they are a British electronica band with their single 'King' reaching number 1 in the UK Singles Chart!! :D

Grades (King) - This song is probably my most listened to on my Spotify atm. It's proper uplifting plus the video is pretty cool :D and reeeeeally makes me want to go on a night out on the town haha!

My Bomber Jacket - My staple. My everything. I honestly don't know what I did before for my outerwear :/ I bought my bomber jacket from  TOPSHOP but got it in the next size up so I could layer clothes underneath but because I bought it in black it basically goes with everything. I might do a blog post with my outfit choices using my jacket :)

Aaaand that's it! That's my August Favourites and the next time I'll be doing a favourites I'll be 20! wow...shit. Anyway, comment below or on my social media what you're August Favourites are :)

Thank you sooo much!!

See you guys later.

Buy + Try...The Experimenter Lush Bath Bomb!

Hey Guys!

How's it hanging??

So I thought I'd try out the highly anticipated Lush bath bomb 'The Experimenter'. The first thing that caught my eye with this particular Lush product was how colourful it was and reeeally wanted to know what colour the water would turn when it's put in the bath :)

What I first noticed was how sort of crumbly it was and how easy the colour transferred onto my skin and that's before the bath bomb went into the water! The Fair Trade vanilla in it is very strong which makes this bath bomb very sensual and relaxing and because it doesn't contain any overpowering sweet smells like lemon or anything like that, it makes this bath bomb perfect for winding down. However the colour doesn't! haha!

When dropped in the bath water The Experimenter swirls around shooting rays of pink and blue and purple but sadly the fun only lasts about a minute before all the colours mesh together and create a horrible browny/bluey colour which isn't the most pleasant when lying in it trying to relax.

The glitter particles are quite large in this one, which I don't mind, I honestly don't think this bath bomb is worth the hype. The smell lingers for a while after the bath which is very soothing but the colour is very disappointing considering how bright they are before they go in the water.

Overall I think this bath bomb is very overrated and I probably wouldn't purchase it again unless I have a bath and close my eyes haha! :)

Thank you sooo much!

See you guys later.

Buy + Try...Creamy Candy Lush bubble bar!

Hey Guys!

How's it hanging??

So I hope you enjoyed reading my latest blog post about the Frozen Lush bath bomb ( that blog post ) and I thought I'd do it again with another Lush product which is the Creamy Candy bubble bar. Now, a bubble bar is slightly different compared to a bath bomb because bath bombs are just dropped in the bath and float around the bath whilst fizzing and/or change colour but a bubble bar is crumbled under the running water which helps create the bubbles, hence the name. I personally prefer the bubble bars because of the bubbles but there's a wider variety of bath bombs so sometimes I mix and match. Also you can either use half of the bubble bar or all of it and obviously the more of it you use the more bubbles you create.

With almond and cocoa butter in as well as a very sweet Candy floss smell, this is definitely a bath product that lifts you up after a hard day at work or if you just feel like you need a pick me up due to the sweetness of it. The colour of it is a really bright pink but when the products in the water it kind of turns a lighter pink:

Overall I think this bubble bar is alright but I'd only have it if I hadn't got anything else and if I didn't have that much money because it's actually quite cheap compared to the other bath products I've used from Lush :)

Thank you sooo much!

See you guys later.

Buy + Try...Frozen Lush bath bomb!

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

So if you know me I'm sort of slightly obsessed with Lush products whether it's hair care, bath bombs or the shower gels and I always get excited when they have new products out. So when I went to my local Lush I wanted to go completely crazy in there but they hadn't got everything that's new so I'll probably order them another time haha! But I did manage to get the 'Frozen' bath bomb inspired by the Disney film, Frozen:

This bath bomb has rose oil in, which isn't overpowering at all, and neroli oil (orange) which is supposed to give us the feeling of being happy and content which definitely did. But part of me thinks that it'd be good for a morning bath to prepare yourself for the day rather than a relaxing bath with something that has lavender in like the 'Dreamtime' bath melt.

When the bath bomb hit the water a bright blue line streamed out and filled the bath with glittery bubbles and made it complete bliss. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the glitter bits in Lush products this one was so subtle and didn't stain the bath and left little particles of sparkle on my skin <3

I would definitely recommend this bath bomb and would happily have it again :D

Please leave a comment on any other products I should try.

Thank you sooo much!!

See you guys later.

My Holiday...pt 2

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

So if you've been following my blog you'll know I went on holiday in July and wanted everyone to know what I got up to but because I went for 2 weeks and did quite a lot I didn't want to cram it all on one post so 2 posts ago I did a post called My Holiday...part 1 which was basically the first week of my holiday and this is a continuation of my holiday. Enjoy! :)

Saturday 25th July 2015 (Istanbul, Turkey)

Today we were going to go off and do our own thing but I didn't feel that up to it. The weather was soooo hot (not that I should be complaining haha) and I didn't feel up to it so whilst my family went off shopping I stayed on the boat. I walked around the boat for a bit, read some fashion books and played card games by myself...wow. That night was informal night so I wore a midi red dress and some brown sandals but before we ate we went to the pub that's on the boat where we did a pub quiz and I had Disaronno and coke <3

I had a sweet potato and cauliflower pasty, salad, pork with cheesy potatoes and veg and then lemon meringue pie.

Sunday 26th July 2015 (Istanbul, Turkey)

Today we woke up extra early because we went on an excursion so we could go see the Saint Sofia, the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus Bridge. When we'd crossed the bridge we then got dropped off for 3 hours to go and visit the Spice Market and when we'd done we decided to wait under a tree and I got shit on...by a bird. Some say it's good luck :/ fingers crossed haha.

Tonight was informal night so I wore a black and white play suit and some white heels but I can't remember what I ate for my dinner but it was probably chicken haha.

Monday 27th July 2015 (Sea Day)

Because we couldn't go off board because it was a sea day, I decided to go and do some more laps so I fast walked 3 miles and then we went to go and watch the Imitation Game with Benedict Cumerbatch( or Cumberland Sausage as I call him haha) and honestly it was probably the best film I'd seen all year!

Tonight was formal night and picture night so I decided to recycle my old prom dress (short black) with white heels and red lips :) I had a chicken salad, the leek and broccoli flan and then ice cream for dessert.

Tuesday 28th July 2015 (Marmaris, Turkey)

Today we walked around doing some shopping, I bought Turkish eye necklace, and we had a drink at a cute little cafe and as always there was lots and lots of sleepy cats <3

When we got back on the boat we decided to watch The Theory of Everything and although I didn't think I'd understand it, but it was absolutely fascinating, Eddie Redmayne did an amazing job and as soon as the film had finished I went to the library and wanted to learn a bit more so I started to read The Origin of Everything :'D

Tonight was informal so I decided to wear a red cropped top with a floral pencil skirt and some sandals. I ate a mushroom tart, fish and veg and then ice cream.

Wednesday 29th July 2015 (Heraklion, Greece)

Again we walked around on our own for a couple of hours and because I didn't think it was really fair that I was restricting my sister because I was using her shoes, I bought some new black wedges for only 20 euros!!! That's like £15.

Tonight was the last formal night so I thought I'd dare it and go with a white dress and my new black wedges which are soooo comfy to walk in! I had the salad, beef Wellington and the ice creams.

Thursday 30th July 2015 (Piraeus, Greece)

Today was soooo bloody hot (39 degrees c) and instead of a 30 minute walk from the boat to the main shopping centre, we decided to go on the 'Fun Train' which cost 5 euros and would drop us off and pick us back up!

We stopped at a little cafe and I had the best peach tea I've ever had and it came with free cake! Can't complain! :D haha. But there was a lot of pigeons (if you don't know I have a slight fear of the bastards) Then we couldn't hack the heat any more so had to re-treat back to the boat for an endless supply of orange and cranberry juice :)

Tonight was informal night so I wore a burgundy lace dress and my black wedges and had the seafood salad, chicken fricoses (?) with mash and veg and the chocolate crème brulee which was insane!

Friday 31st July 2015 (Sea Day)

Like it always has been when it's been a sea day, I walked 4 miles today (thought I'd push myself haha) and we had to very slowly start packing because we were going to leave tomorrow :'( we had to return the books back to the library and because we had a luggage allowance we had to be careful what we bought back and what we kept here. So I used my make up wipes, left my razor, left my broken shoes etc.

I wore a black cami top with black trousers and my black wedges but I can't remember what I had to eat...awks. But we had to leave our suitcases outside of our cabin so they could be collected and transported outside ready for us to take them to the airport.

Saturday 1st August 2015 (Going home)

We had to wake extra early and fill our boots because we were going to be travelling all day :( We had to wait for our level that we were on to be announced that it was our time to leave and we then had to find our suitcases and queue for a coach to take us to the airport but we managed to snag the coach that had hardly anyone on it but the drive was only about an hour so wasn't too bad.

Then we got to the airport, which was suuuper windy, and literally had to wait 3 hours for our plane to arrive and because there was about 100+ people getting on our flight, there wasn't any seats left so we had to sit on the floor and because we're a party of 6 we couldn't sit together either on the plane ride, which wasn't that bad (thank god for music). We arrived at Manchester Airport and our driver picked us up and took us home. So after over 10 hours travelling and only having breakfast I was very very very tired :/

But overall I had a very good holiday and just want to thank everyone who helped us at any point and my family for making memories that I'll never forget <3 <3

Thank you sooo much!!

See you later guys.
