June + July Favourites :)

How's it hanging??

I've only just realised that I haven't put my last 2 monthly favourites on...awks. But luckily when there's something that I like or am obsessed with I'll put them in my OneNote on my laptop so when I'm doing them I can delete them instead of writing them on paper. Any who let's begin!!

JUNE FAVOURITES

Grey Boots - I bought these from New Look quite a while back but have honestly been wearing them to death. They have quite a chunky heel but have no laces or straps so they slip on easy and are suuuper comfortable. I'd normally pair them with a casual tee and blue jeans or even a crop top and pencil skirt for a night out. I would show you a picture but I never took one when I bought them and right now they are filthy :/ But I can show you what they sort of look like haha :') 

So they are the same design as these but a light grey colour and are suede rather than leather like these.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eye-shadow in Creamy Beige - This has been my holy grail eye product ever since I bought it. Like it says on the packaging, it's a beige colour so what I do when I apply is all over my lids if I'm in a rush for work or if I'm doing a smoky eye look for a night out, I'll apply this as a kind of primer because it's a creamy consistency and sometimes my eyelids get slightly oily so this helps prolong my eye-shadow. Also because the colour is so pigmented you don't need much and I've had this for about 3 months and it looks like I haven't used much at all!

Jurassic World - This film is epic. I was a huge fan of the older Jurassic films and honestly thought it was going to be shit. But I thought I'd give it a chance. 

Basically the premises of the film is a new theme park has just been opened that inhabits dinosaurs so people can get up close and personal with them and the newest dinosaur is far too dangerous for them to have at the park and gets loose...

Scrunchies - Basically as soon as I get home from work and I know I haven't got to make any more human contact I'll put my hair in a big scrunchie <3 The ones I get are from American Apparel but you can really get them from anywhere. Atm I have a black, pink, red, white and stripy one and this particular brand are my favourite as they don't snag your hair and don't leave it in kinks :)

Casey Neistat - Now if you don't know by now I loooove YouTube and am always on the look out for new YouTubers to start stalking ;) haha and I stumbled across Casey Neistat via Ben Brown and was completely infatuated by his love for film making and how he puts his own twist on everyday life and about 4 months ago he started doing daily vlogs which are soo well put together and although he does normal everyday stuff like go to work, work out etc time seems to fly when I watch his videos <3 <3

JULY FAVOURITES

The Equalizer - If your one for action films you have to watch this! Denzel Washington plays Robert McCall, a man of mystery, who has quite a dodgy past and tries to escape it but when he meets a young Russian girl at a cafe he always goes to and notices she's in trouble he decides to help her which brings up his past.

Harry Potter World - So if you haven't seen my blog post on it, I went to the Warner Bros. Studios in London for Harry Potter which was fucking epic! Seriously like if you are a Potter head what are you doing with your life if you haven't been?!?! There's costumes, settings from the actual film and you get to fly a broom! So yeah go and read my post on it for more! :D

My Holiday - After a jam packed year I definitely needed this holiday and boy oh boy was it amazing! We went on a cruise with Cunard to places like Turkey, Greece etc and I've done the 1st half of my holiday as a blog post and the 2nd half will be up on the 14th August because we did quite a lot and I thought it'd be slightly overwhelming if I did it as a whole post so go and have a read of that as well! :D

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!?!

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

Sooo....it's been a while I know and my regular readers will probably be wondering where I've been and what I've been up to so I thought I'd tell you :)

Last month I went to Harry Potter World in London - which I'll do a blog post on because there's a lot of pictures and anyone who's a Harry Potter fan should definitely check it out!

- Also last month I went on holiday to quite a lot of places like Turkey and Greece so that will also be an upcoming post.

Then I only came back the 1st of August and although it was only Turkey which is 2-3 hours ahead, I don't really do well with jet lag haha so I've been hibernating trying to catch up on the 4000 videos on YouTube (I know I have a problem! :D) and attempting to watch Pretty Little Liars haha.

So as you can see I've been pretty busy but I can assure you there will be plenty of posts including:

- June + July Favourites

May Favourites.

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

Soooo I know these are a bit later but hey ho! haha! I really love seeing what people have been loving every month and trying out what they recommend so hopefully you'll enjoy reading about what I've been loving last month and let me know what you think about them as well :)

Make-up

If you know me then you'll know I looooove lipstick and lipgloss and anything like that so when I went to my local Boots just for browsing and stuff, I saw the packaging out the corner of my eye. Then I bought 3 of them :) They are the Revlon Ultra HD Lipsticks. Although there isn't that much in the bullet, the formula of these are incredible because they just glide on and are sooo buttery and the colour pay off is amazing!!! The colours I've got are Rose (which is like a muted pinky/mauve colour), Dahlia (which is like a burnt red colour) and Petunia (which is a bright fuchsia colour). Also, if you haven't gathered, they're all named after flowers which I think is soooo cute :3

After taking my make-up off after a day of work and I see a pesky spot I immediately freak out! I know it's normal and stuff because I'm still a teenager but I want to try and combat them as soon as I see them and I think I've found my holy grail:

Not only does this smell amazing due to the peppermint oil, the primrose seeds and aduki beans ex-foliate with the honey making the skin suuuper soft after rinsing. It's just awesome! The spots don't go straight away obviously but they do somewhat shrink and don't look as noticeable :D

Music

Nick Jonas. Oh...wow. Now flashback years and years to my first concert...The Jonas Brothers and although their stuff wasn't the best at all but those songs have the best memories in my opinion. But fast forward to now and Nick Jonas is a solo artist who's looking mighty fine ;) and has super catchy songs especially Jealous ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yw04QD1LaB0 ) 

And that's all folks...

I know it's only a small amount for a month but there hasn't been anything that's popped out and has made me rave about it like these things but in the comments tell me anything that you think I should check out whether it's clothes, food, music, make-up etc. I'll give it a try :)

My Sundayy!

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging?

Sooo how's your Sunday been?? Mine's been pretty relaxing tbh and because we didn't go to my nan's this Sunday I thought today should be a 'Me Day'. 

So my 'Me Day' started out by waking up at half 11, because why not, and having my breakfast of eggs, bacon and avocado on toast with a very very milky and sugary cup of tea :P

Then, because my dad was watching the football, I decided to go up to my room, light a candle and try to catch up with my Watch list on YouTube with not that much progress :/ Then we had roast pork for our Sunday lunch which was heeeeaaavvvveeennnnn!! and I went back upstairs to watch YouTube.

When it got to about 6 o'clock I started to run my bath. I decided to use my Bubbleroon 'Rose Jam' which gives you the best bubbles everr! whilst having my 'Magnaminty' face mask on because lately my face hasn't been in the best condition so I thought I'd use this to help my skin along :) Whilst I was in the bath, I used my new body scrub called 'You Snap The Whip' which smells awesome! It has charcoal and cocoa butter in as well as sweet-scented oils which is probably why it smells like blackcurrant but it is amazing like all you have to do is rub and because of the pumice that's it in, the scrub really gets to work at your skin leaving it suuuuper soft :)

After my bath, I removed my mask with a flannel (face towel) and used my new moisturiser which is called 'Enzymion' which basically helps restores the skins natural balance and giving it a matte appearance. Although it doesn't have the best smell in the world, it does have lemon, avocado and papaya in which is what makes the moisturiser soooo creamy and you hardly need any at all for your face.

Pretty Little Liars was also playing throughout the bath :D

Now as I'm writing this my brother and dad are watching the racing so I think I'll catch up with more YouTube or PLL I haven't decided yet ;)

Best Sunday in a while :D

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

Soo I think I've probably had one of the best Sundays I've had in quite a while and do you know why...because I hardly did anything! I know! You'd think I'd be bored of Sundays like the majority of people but for me they're my comfort day like I can eat what I want and sleep in til whatever time I want. I loooove it.

So I got up at about half 11 and quickly checked through Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and brushed my teeth and went to go and make my brunch ;) I had bacon, avocado and egg on toast which was bum :D

I then watched the ending of Sunday Brunch (which is kind of like the norm in our house on a Sunday morning) and then prepared the dough for the 'Brookies' I was going to make in the afternoon because the recipe said to leave it to chill in the fridge for 4 hours. (Credit to Lily Pebbles) 

I then watched some Football and tried to catch up with YouTube haha! Then we had our Sunday lunch which was amaaazing!!! :p (By the time I went to take a picture I'd already eat it! haha!)

Then I put the Brookies in the oven and they turned out pretty gooood :D Apparently the recipe said to make about 70 little ones but I couldn't be bothered to make that many so I made about 20 instead which meant that they were slightly bigger than Lily's but they tasted frickin' awesome, kind of like Devil's Food cake :)

Whilst the Brookies were cooling down I decided to clean my make-up brushes before I had my bath which didn't really take that much time at all so I carried on watching YouTube and went upstairs to pick my Lush stuff out for my bath :)

I decided to pick the Twilight bath bomb and I had my coffee and mocha face mask whilst catching up with my fav, PLL :D After my bath though I really felt like pampering myself plus I haven't done it in a while. I shaved and tanned :) I used my Rimmel London fake tan with my Body Shop Brazil nut scrub so now I smell fricking goooood if I may say so myself ;) Now I'm sitting in my Winnie the Pooh onesie about to demolish some Brookies whilst watching YouTube and maybe a film whilst painting my nails :)

So there you go. Doesn't seem like much but these are the kind of days I love considering I work Monday-Friday 8-4 and Saturdays are normally packed full of shopping and running errands. Tell me in the comments what you like to do on your Lazy Sundays :)

March Favourites :D

So I know it's a bit late but hey ho ;) here are my March Favourites:

Film

So my only film that I've reeeally enjoyed in March was Starred Up. It stars one of my favourite actors Jack O'Connell and Ben Mendelsohn and is about a trouble teenager who gets sent to prison and finds his father in there and sees the relationship change. It's sooo good but does contain very very very strong language and all that kind of stuff ;)

My favourite video of March has to be Roman Atwood's ball prank:

I would totally looove to do this once when I've got a house or something not even as a prank but just imagine how cool it'd be like wow...

My favourite YouTuber though has to be Trisha Paytas :D not only is she controversial but I think that's the reason I reeally like her because she doesn't let anyone get to her and gives me soo much more confidence in myself and that it's okayy to be you

Make-up

My eyebrows have completely changed thanks to the Soap and Glory Archery 2 in 1 Brow filling Pencil & Brush <3 Before this I only used a standard brow pencil that was too dark for me and hadn't got a brush so I couldn't really blend the colour but the formula of the pencil is sooo good and the pencil is really thin so I can create lines that actually look like hairs! Amazzzing ;D

Now everyone loves a good tan whether they'd admit it or not and what I've been loving for a subtle yet bronzed look I've been using Rimmel London Summer Instant Tan with Gradual Glow in the shade Medium Matte. It comes out sort of like Nutella and you literally don't need that much at all but it's suuuper build-able so you can add layer on layer without looking like a Wotsit.

Music

I been obsessing over Josh Savage lately. I was introduced to him by the The Michalaks on some of their videos and just fell in love with his voice especially the song 'Lost in Paris'

My Pinterest :D

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

So no work for me again today...just stuck on the chicken noodle soup and lemsip but on the plus side I can catch up with my videos that I need to watch on YouTube :D

Also, I've been reallly into Pinterest lately and if you've never heard of it before it's basically an app that has 'pins' which can be pictures or links to websites or helpful hints etc. and when you see a 'pin' that you like, you can create things called 'boards' in which you store the pins. For instance on my Pinterest one of my boards is called 'Food' and if I see a pin that looks good or has a nice recipe on it, I store it on the 'Food' board and then I can look at it any time I want :)

And because I've had bugger all to do, this has been my life alongside Netflix and eating ;) but the one particular board I've been obsessed with is my 'Wishlist' board. On this board I go onto clothes websites and at the bottom of the item that I really want on their website is the Pinterest button and I can put them on my board with the click of a button :)

Not only is this reeeeallllyy addictive, but sort of motivates me to be more productive and teaches me that if I want something, like a new pair of shoes, I obviously have to work for it :') which doesn't really make sense when I'm at home being ill but I can't help that! haha :)

Didn't see that coming...

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

I'm...well...I'm ill :(

I was coughing a whole lot yesterday and I thought it was just a tickle and that it'd go away in a couple of days but no :/

My nose started to get blocked up and my head was pounding alongside aching in my ears so instead of going to work today I'm stuck at home all bunged up :'( but on the plus side these are some things that are making life a bit more bearable today:

February Favourites!

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

So I actually can't believe we're in March already! Like seriously! It only feels like yesterday it was Christmas and New Year and all that stuff but yeah, I guess that's what happens when you're busy :D

So...let's begin!!

Food

I've been loving at the moment Caramel Wafers <3 <3 they're like the ones that you get in Starbucks but obviously less money and you're supposed to balance the wafer over a hot drink and the caramel in the middle is supposed to melt but I prefer to just eat them haha! :) Now I haven't got a picture of them because I ate them all and threw away the packet... :/ so here's another picture I found :D

I've also been loooooving spicy food :P yep...anything spicy. If I'm having pasta, I'll either have to add Tabasco sauce or chilli flakes or anything like that and I've gotten a real love for the 'hot' chicken at Nandos which is a real achievement for me because I only normally have 'Mango and Lime' or 'Lemon and Herb'. Is this normal?

Make-up & Beauty

As you know nearly every Sunday I've been posting my 'Suds Sunday' which is basically when I show you guys what I've been using in my bath and anything else like what music I listened to or what moisturiser I used after my bath and at the moment, I honestly can't rave enough about Lush products. The colour of the bath bombs is ridiculously bright and the smells are sooo good, but the one thing I would say is they do lack bubbliness which is what I really like in a bath but hey, beggars can't be choosers :)

Now onto my holy grail :) The Simple Kind to Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-On. This stuff is sooo soothing and I use it before I apply my make-up in the morning and before I go to bed and seriously, my bags under my eyes have gotten lighter. Yay me! :D

 Now a make-up website that I've been obsessing is Feel Unique like seriously. Amazing. Easy to navigate, easy to find stuff and it's free delivery when you spend over £10 :D They do high end brands as well as high street shops and the delivery is suuuper quick. I ordered something on a Monday and got it on the Wednesday :) Amazing <3

TV/Music

Now my favourite TV programme that I haven't been able to stop watching is the Walking Dead. Like can we take a moment for the special effects and make-up in this programme because...it's awesome. The story line is amazing, the actors/characters are brilliant. There are no flaws.

For my music favourite of the month it has to be the Royal Bloods album, Royal Blood. This album is awesome. My favourite songs are Little Monster, Out of the Black and Figure it Out. Just seriously amazing. They're quite heavy but not like as heavy as Slipknot or Cancer Bats :D

Suds Sunday

Hey Guys!!

How's it hanging??

So...another week has gone by and you know what time it is...SUDS SUNDAY!!! Woop! Woop! So here we go :D

So for Christmas my sister got some Lush products and she said that I could use them instead (shout out to her! :D) and so I used the 'Golden Wonder' bath bomb which smells very similar to the 'Dragon's Egg' and is shaped like a golden present. Oh and also, when I shook the bath bomb, it sounded like there was something in there but when I popped it in the bath and it finished fizzing, I couldn't find anything :( so in the comments would you be able to tell me what was supposed to be there. Thanks :)

Then, when I got out the shower, I used my nspsa 'Brightening Detox Scrub' and I think I got it from either Asda or Sainsburys but yeah... the beads in this scrub aren't harsh on my skin and sort of foams when you mix it with warm water and doesn't have a really strong smell.

Also whilst I was having a bath I was listening to Jamie T's old album Panic Prevention :)

And after that, I moisturised my skin with my Body Shop 'body butter' in Coconut but now I've finished that off :'( but it does mean I get to move onto my other ones!!! YAY!!! :D

Valentines Shopping Haul.

Hey Guys!!

Happy Valentines Day!! 

So...how's it hanging, what's up? Anything new?? I know I know I haven't uploaded my January Favourites or my latest Suds Sunday but my Suds Sunday was the same as last time and I didn't really have any new favourites for January because I was using the same products as last time hahaa!! :D

Anyway, I hope your having an amazing Valentines Day and I personally think that everyone should be treated on Valentines Day whether you have a boyfriend or girlfriend or are single. So go on! Splurge out on those shoes! Buy more than 1 of your favourite lipstick! So that's what I did and I didn't hold back :') So get yourself a cup of tea or whatever you want to drink and let's get started! Oh...p.s. please excuse the rubbish nail job :/ I did it last night as my other nail varnish had completely chipped off so I slapped on Essie 'A-list' a standard staple of a bright cherry red <3

So let's begin...

TOPSHOP

Sorry for the angle :/

Anyway, I needed to go and get some new socks as the majority of my favourites had holes in and was causing me blisters so of course dinosaur socks are the way forward for me and because the offer was 3 pairs of socks for £8.50 I spotted (see what I did there! :D) these cute cow ones and well...they're just too cute to leave :)

Then because I had a £10 voucher for Topshop for Christmas I bought this dainty nail varnish in the colour 'Crack your Code' which is a baby coral with flecks of white bits in.

Then I went into Boots... (cue dramatic music) :'D

Firstly I bought a complete classic from the Essie section and that is 'Fiji'. A beautiful pale pink :)

Now...because there was an offer on buy 1 Maybelline product and get the 2nd half price, I couldn't say no :D So I purchased the Maybelline Colorsensational Elixir Lip in 'Caramel Infused' and for the 2nd product I got the Maybelline Falsies Mascara and I blame Tanya Burr! (You'll know if you watch her videos)

Now the last thing I bought from Boots I'd seen quite a few times but I sort of thought 'why would I need that when I've got similar products' but it was only when I opened it up in store and saw how matte they were when the ones I have have a slight shimmer too them. So I got it. Yes I'm talking about the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit which includes a highlighter, a lighter bronzer and a darker bronzer and like I said earlier, they are all completely matte.

Then it was time for Superdrug...

Now I've been reeeeallllyyy wanting to try out bloggers and YouTubers Tanya Burr, Zoella and Ruth Crilly but could never find any of the products anywhere for about a month...until today!!!!

So, first on my mind was Ruth's dry hair shampoo. Her dry shampoo comes in 5 scents; New York, Paris, London, Tokyo and Rio and I decided to choose the Paris scent which is the florally one of them all but just in case I either didn't like the formula or the scent, I chose the mini version :)

Then it was time for Zoe's products. If I'm honest I was really only looking for her bath bar thing and I managed to get the last one!! Woop! Woop! Haha! :D But yeah, this is called the 'Fizz Bar' and basically looks like a white bar of chocolate and when you want a bath you can put as many pieces of the 'chocolate' in as you want. But just remember, you can't eat it!! But the smell is very refreshing sort of reminds me of 'Dragon Egg' from Lush. But the packaging is wayyy cuter :3

And last but by no means least, Miss Tanya Burr's cosmetics. Now I'm not normally a fan of lip gloss' mainly due to the fact that they've always been very sticky, too sweet smelling and just generally bad quality so I decided to pick a neutral colour to wear so that if I didn't like it, I wouldn't feel as guilty because there would be a similar colour in another brand, rather than having a beautiful colour and not enjoying the formula and not being able to find a dupe for it. Do you get me? Nope...okayyy :/ So yeah, I picked 'Picnic in the Park' again because she goes on about it sooo much she convinced me that I need it in my life and well...now I do :D

Now I'm quite a fan of eyelashes but every pair I've bought look too fake but on one of Tanya's vlogs I think it was either Niomi that was wearing them or Tanya and they looked amazing! So, I bought the 'Date Night' ones which I thought looked the most natural without being too natural if you get me :')

Then whilst I was browsing around I also found a new nail varnish from Model's Own and it's the Colour Chrome collection and I was really intrigued into what the pay off of the colour would be so I chose the shade 'Chrome Pink'.

As well as this nail varnish, I also spotted a new rail of Max Factor and immediately saw the blushes. Like. Oh...my...god. Beautiful. The colour of them reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes but obviously less expensive haha! They are the new Max Factor Creme Puff Blusher in the shade 'Lavish Mauve'.
