Family Time!!

Hey Guys!

It's Sundayy! Sunday Funday!

So nearly every Sunday is the tradition where me and my family all congregate around my nan and granddads house and have our lunch/dinner there, but we haven't been going lately due to both my nan and granddad being taken ill and having to go to the hospital, but we got to go today for the first time in about 3/4 weeks and they both are slowly getting better! Now I don't really want to get into detail about why they haven't been well but non of you need to panic but I can assure you, they're okay!

Now, normally we have the normal Sunday lunch with some form of a roast with all the trimmings kind of like something you'd have at Christmas, but to try and get my 3 little cousins to eat a wider range of food, my granddad and nan have been cooking more 'exotic' foods and when I say exotic, I use that very loosely. Like today, we had fish pie and vegetables, but you know when you go to your nans house and she just feeds you and feeds you until you've basically doubled your weight, that's me! God bless my grandparents!!

Words can't actually describe how much I love my family, like I'm being serious. Just getting everyone around the table, talking about how our weeks have been and what we're doing next week, just makes me feel sooo happy to be part of such a large family. Definitely not taking them for granted!

Say WHAT?!?!

Hey Guys!

 

It's me! I know!

 

Like I told you, I'd have more time to do blogging being as I'm looking for jobs and not going to uni any more but every Saturday, me and my family like to go to Birmingham to do shopping and as Halloween is less than a week away, I needed to get some stuff for my costume.

 

Now not going to give anything away but this particular person I'm dressing up as has very dark lips and after scrolling through YouTube videos, I found the perfect video and had everything to re-create the look, apart from the lipstick. So, off I went to buy my first ever MAC product.

 

I know right! Well, I've had MAC products in the past but this was the first one that I'd ever bought with my own money and after buying the product, I can tell I know where all my moneys going to when I get a job :D Now, I know you're all probably wondering what the MAC product was and on my Twitter, I actually wanted to see if there was a dupe so I wouldn't have to spend as much on something I'm probably only going to wear once, but after seeing the colour in real life, I had to buy it: MAC Nightmoth Lipliner.

Although this lip liner does look brown, I can assure you it is more like a deep plum sort of colour and as soon as I got home, I coloured my lips in and...well...what can I say. I'm not used to very very very dark lips but I actually think I could get used to it. Well, I'll let you be the judge as I'll be posting a picture from Halloween on here very soon.

Time to grow up...sort of :D

Hey Guys!

So, I haven't spoken to yous lot in a while and I think it's about the right time to explain myself. Don't worry, in my opinion, it's not that serious but, you know, it's up to you to decide.

So, the last time I spoke to you bunch, I was at university and wasn't very happy with the situation that I was in even though I'd only been there for I think it was 1 1/2 weeks and part of me wanted to quit straight there and then to then go home and find a job and yeah. But, on the other side, I wanted to stay because it'd only been 2 weeks and I'd only been to 1 lecture, but in my opinion, it wasn't for me and do you know the reason why?

Because I don't know what I want to do with my life...

So, I did the 'brave' thing and after 2 weeks at the University of Bedfordshire, I quit. Don't get me wrong, the university was amazing and the people that I met there, I would consider them my new friends and I hope to keep in contact with them but because I don't know what I want to do so rather than doing something I don't know if I'll like in 1 years time, I'd rather come back home and get a job whilst I'm trying to figure me out.

If I was to give any advice, although I'm not very good at giving advice of taking it as a matter of fact, I would say wait. If you enjoy something, I'd say make sure that you're not going to be bored of it after a couple of months. Take me for example, I enjoy reading books and I have a couple of ideas for stories, when I went to my first lecture, I felt completely out of my comfort zone and whilst I sat in my room, I'd convinced myself that I couldn't do it, especially for three years.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't like to be a published writer, but I couldn't do the learning aspect of it as I was scared of by doing it for so long that I'd get bored of it and would never want to read another book again or have any more ideas. So, I'm no longer a student and am currently applying for jobs endlessly and because I've got more time on my hands, I can update you more often, even though it might not be exciting all the time, I'll try to make it as exciting as possible for your entertainment. Oh, okay... was it just me that that sounded a bit dirty...oh well! :D

Thanks guys for being patient and like I said, I'll be able to be more consistent, pinky promise ;)

A new chapter!!

Hey Guys!

Now look, I know it's been a while since I did a blog post and I know said I'd be posting more often but because I'm starting a new chapter in my life and I'll want to keep you updated with my journey and hopefully give you an insight into this if you choose to go down the same path as me. Now I know what you're thinking, what could she possibly be doing?

University.

Although I was hesitant at the start to actually go, as I sit here in my new room, so far it's not as erm fun packed as I thought it would be and although I know I've only been here for 24 hours, it honestly feels like ages and I don't know if I like the idea of doing this for the whole 3 years. I know I haven't had any lectures yet and fresher's week hasn't started yet, but after going out last night, I don't think I can keep it up. Don't get me wrong, my flat mates are sooo lovely, but something just doesn't feel right and I really don't like it.

I can remember when I first started secondary school and in my honest opinion, I don't think it was this bad, like I'm literally sitting in my room whilst they go out shopping, it's like I don't feel like I fit in. but I'm not going to quit now. I think I'll see how my fresher's week goes and then my lectures and if I still don't feel like I'm being myself, then I'll have to sort something out.

Oh, by the way, I'm not portraying that this is what university will be like for anyone that's starting next year, but this is just my personal opinion and as I sometimes get social anxiety and suffer from slight panic attacks, I just thought that I'd try it to see if I could control both my anxiety and attacks but I've already had one because we were dancing and everyone was just crowding around me :(

I hope this post has been helpful to anyone out there, or just an interesting read tbh.

Ahhhhh!!!!

Ahhhh!!!!!

So my life has been very hectic lately as you can probably tell from my lack of blogging.

*Bad Charlotte, very very bad!*

And I feel like I need to sort of explain myself as to why I haven't been here for 3 MONTHS!!!

If you know me, you'll know that I finished school recently. *Celebratory dance inserted here*And I know what your thinking, why can't she blog more because she has so much time on her hands now she doesn't have to worry about revising or exams and that is very true, but what I've found is that I sometimes struggle to think of things that I can write about.

I mean, I don't have a job so I wouldn't be able to do much shopping with no money so I can't do many beauty hauls etc but I also I don't really know if you want to know about my every day life or if I should start doing vlogging on my YouTube channels.One of my friends has recently passed her driving test and has got a car so we'd go on little adventures together, so would you like to see those? What do you guys think? Please leave a comment.

April Already!!

Hey Guys!!

How are we all, you good??
So, first of all I'd just like to say, where has the year gone!?!?

I mean, we've been in 2014 for 4 months and I really haven't achieved anything that I wanted to, except for shopping, oh wait, actually, the main thing that I've achieved is getting back onto the blogging shananagans!! If you've been reading my previous blogs and looked on my profile, you'd know that I've had this account since around 2007, but didn't really have the confidence to actually put my thinkings on here so everyone could read them, but then I started reading a very special someone who I've been watching their videos since the year dot and when I found out that they had a blog, I couldn't contain my excitement and even read all her blog posts for 2 days straight! DEDICATION!! 

Yes, yes, I am on about Miss Tanya Burr <3 <3 Now, I know that everyone would be saying that she is their reason for doing YouTube videos and stuff, and that would be me, but you see, I don't think I'd be that confident, actually sitting down and talking to a piece of technology, which is technically what I'm doing now, but I hate the sound of my voice, so I suppose this is the better option, for my sake and your ears sake!! :D

Anyway, Miss Tanya Burr. She's so positive all the time and the way that she expresses herself and her opinions on both her videos and blog made me think that I could start to be like that for someone. So, when someone has been having a bad day at work and they just need to sit down, turn the computer on and read my blog, hopefully that would make their day slightly better, whether it would be just a giggle or made them have a better outlook on life, I just really hope that I could change someone's life.

Like I said at the start, it's been 4 months since 2014 started and my personal new years resolution, apart from the obvious 'loose weight for summer', was to be more involved in my blog and my audience, so I'm starting NOW!

During the week, in a little book, what I'm going to do, is write down a subject that I could talk about if I haven't been shopping, so I can discuss with you about my subject, so expect more from me, although I haven't been on here in quite a while, so I need to be more persistent. Actually, that should have been 1 of my resolutions for the year as well!!
